Size down- I am 5'6, 130 lbs and the Small was very loose on my waist (28"). The elastic band was very loose and didn't give the dress much shape. Considered ordering an XS but my concern is how short it would be...the small was a bit short for me. Sad it didn't fit, very nice otherwise.

This dress is adorable!! I ordered the XS but it was still way too big in the waist so I took it in to get it cinched tighter. The dress looks much cuter with the waistband cinched up instead of hanging down with no shape. Looks great with some OTK boots.

I always order Medium in almost everything (especially Free People), so I was surprised how much this seemed to swallow me. I know it's dropped-waist, but it was even big down on my hips. I'd definitely recommend going down a size.
