Ugh...I was soooo sad to return this. It was almost incredible...but not quite. The fit on the bottom is amazing. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs and pretty consistently wear a Small for reference. I ordered the S and the fit was impeccable. Incredibly flattering everywhere. The color is also gorgeous. It is a bit see through so I'd suggest a white slip. HOWEVER, there was one construction issue that I unfortunately just couldn't get pastthe cowl neck. No matter how you let it hang, it looks terribly awkward from the side. In the normal way it wants to hang, it looks like a sharp point or beak is pointing out from under your chest. Really weird. I tried rolling it all different ways in inside, thinking I could use tape to keep it in place if I could just find one possibility that didn't look weird and I just couldn't. I loved the rest of the dress so much, that I considered getting it altered and having a tailor tack down the bottom of the cowl to the waist band on the inside, cutting out the extra fabric to avoid the beak situation, but this seemed like an expensive and risky alteration that might not pan out. So I ultimately decided to return it, but I sure wish the designer could have gotten the cowl right because if they had, this would have been an absolute show stopper.
